Say Less Around Franklin Stone

Franklin Stone is back with another single called Say Less and it is a banger. The song features a blend of rhythm and melody over an infectious beat reminiscent of Kanye. While it could have sonically fit on Stone’s last project, Legacy, the track sticks out as a stand alone statement. 

His lyrics detail his standing in regards to his peers, boasting stanzas of him declaring his authority and knack for making the right decisions, and how those decisions have affected his career in the past and moving forward. This is why it stands out from the content on Legacy. Say Less is more of a declaration of Stone’s greatness moving forward, while his last EP is a reflection of what has happened. In this sense, Say Less serves as a prequel to Legacy. 

The single was packaged with a video featuring a snippet of another song, hopefully from his upcoming project. It is set in Stone’s studio and demonstrates the energy physically that he puts into his craft. It seems that he is beginning to focus on developing a presence on YouTube, shooting and directing his own videos with increasing quality. Both of the trends regarding the themes within his music and attention to the visual aspect of his career is encouraging and I cannot wait to hear his next project, especially if it actually is a prequel to Legacy.
