Cruising with Killerteddybear

I’ve just discovered a new artist that’s unique, yet familiar that I was impressed by and wanted to bring to everyone’s attention. As I’m cruising the Spotify algorithms, I was suggested a song by an up and coming artist, Killerteddybear, and I was transported back to the 80’s. The particular song was Cruising and the production alone is timeless, as it could fit in multiple decades. But once you get past the production, Killerteddybear’s vocals are the definition of modern. He laced them with the perfect amount of auto tune to the point that his vocals are just like another instrument on the beat.

Cruising Cover Art

As far as content goes, his lyrics in this song are introspective dealing with love. He reflects on past and current relationships, and how he has dealt with it. This goes well with the cover art, which is a duo of candid shots reflecting the need for escape through his use of a vape, while being a juxtaposition with the edgy look displayed by his tank top and tattoos.

Check out his song, which was added to the moods playlist, and follow him on Spotify and you won’t be disappointed. I’m currently waiting on his next release with the expectations created from this song.
