Getting Arcane with Zayne
This song is a form of vibes personified. It’s as if Zayne produced a movie, set at nighttime at a dance bar. The night starts off calm, setting in the atmosphere needed for the rest of the night. Then the clock strikes twelve and the song picks up, slowly building energy, until you have no choice but to feel the beat and start tapping your foot and nodding your head. He rounds the night off with a climax of distorted vocals, representing the hysteria of the moment. Then you realize the whole night went by in a swift two minutes, yet it’s worth the experience alone to listen to it.
The cover art compliments the tone of the zone, which is always appreciated, as it sets the expectations off nicely. With a backdrop of black and bright blue lights in the shape of a moon and a star, it represents the lights within a club, or ultimately, the great night that is to come. I admit, this was the first time I ever heard Zayne’s music, but it won’t be my last, and if you haven’t heard it, you won’t be disappointed.
